Jambos target Koroman

Hearts are keen to sign Serbia international midfielder Ognjen Koroman, who is currently on loan at Portsmouth.

The 28-year-old has made only a handful of appearances for Pompey this term and the Jambos hope to tempt Koroman's parent club, Terek Grozny, with a permanent deal.

Head coach Valdas Ivanauskas told the Edinburgh Evening News: "We are interested, but I don't want to speak too much because we have not signed him yet.

"We were interested in him last winter but he went to Portsmouth. Maybe this year we can look again, but the deal is not perfect yet.

"He is a special player, he is experienced and I don't know why he doesn't play regularly for Portsmouth.

"We need more information about that, but we are looking at him."
