Jambos seal Balogh signing

Hearts have completed the signing of Hungarian goalkeeper Janos Balogh on an initial six-month loan from Debrecen.

The 25-year-old is the second keeper to join the Jambos in recent times, with Marian Kello having made his debut in the 2-1 win over St Mirren at the weekend.

Hearts boss, Csaba Laszlo, told the club's official website: "This is a player that we've been very keen to bring the club. He will provide valuable competition with Marian and Jamie MacDonald.

"Like Marian, Janos is young, but has very good experience and he will be a good addition to our squad. I am happy to welcome him."

Balogh himself added: "If I play for Hearts I have a chance to go back into the national team, but I have to be playing for the team.

"I hope I do a good job, so I can maybe stay here for a longer time."
