Jambos keeper set for loan

Hearts manager Csaba Laszlo has confirmed that goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald will be allowed to leave the club on loan.

The 23-year-old is currently third choice for the Jambos and Laszlo is aware that MacDonald needs games to boost his progress.

He told the Edinburgh Evening News: "We'd like to help Jamie. The decision is there and we'd like to put Jamie on loan for a half season.

"He needs games and, at the moment, the first choice is Janos Balogh and Marian Kello, with Jamie behind.

"As soon as possible he can go on loan. I think in the next week or so he'll be going. I know two teams are definitely interested but Jamie must decide for himself."
