Hearts' sporting director Anatoly Korobochka admits that the club face a fight to keep in-form striker Andrius Velicka beyond the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old Lithuanian was the subject of interest from a number of clubs last summer and has hit a rich vein of form in recent weeks, scoring six times in his last seven games.
Korobochka said: "Andrius has an ability to score goals from all areas in and around the box.
"He has adapted well to the physical style of football in Scotland and he clearly relishes the opportunity to play for Hearts.
"We do expect interest in Andrius in the transfer window as he is an excellent player, but he is very focused and dedicated to helping Hearts win silverware."
Velicka joined the Jambos in the summer of 2006 from FBK Kaunas and has gone on to score 19 goals in 43 appearances for the Edinburgh club.
