The injury crisis looked to have been easing earlier this week with news that Andrew Driver, Craig Thomson and Scott Robinson were on the brink of returning from long-term knee problems.[LNB]But it could end up being three in, four out for Hearts this weekend.[LNB]Defender Goncalves is nursing what Jim Jefferies believes to be a thigh strain.[LNB]He said: "He's going to train with us this morning and do the warm-up only.[LNB]"We think he might be all right but, right now, it's too early to say.[LNB]"Stevenson's not trained all week and he's got a knock.[LNB]"He'll do the warm-up this morning, then we'll see if there's any reaction."[LNB]Striker Elliot, meanwhile, has suffered a recurrence of his troublesome knee injury, and Novikovas has yet to train this week after going down with a virus, though he was expected to return on Thursday.[LNB]Hearts are already without Ruben Palazuelos, Ian Black, Ismael Bouzid, Michael Stewart, Marian Kello, Marius Zaliukas and Ryan Wallace.[LNB]And Jefferies admitted he may be forced to start one or more of Driver, Thomson and Robinson against Hibernian.[LNB]"You're throwing them into the derby when they've not played for a long time," he said.[LNB]"But if the injuries pick up any more, they might have to play."[LNB][LNB]
