Jambos boss buoyant

Hearts manager Jim Jefferies is encouraged by his players' attitude as they seek to continue an impressive run at Motherwell. Hearts have scored 13 goals without reply in five consecutive victories and can move nine points ahead of Motherwell in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League at Fir Park. Jefferies is confident that their confidence will not turn to arrogance after watching how hard his players worked during their 5-0 victory over Aberdeen on Saturday. "Confidence is high so hopefully we can keep it going," Jefferies said. "We know in football nothing is guaranteed, you have to earn the right. "We've been very consistent. I said at the start of the season, maybe after 10, 11 games everyone will settle down. "We've shown that's the case. We've done it without a few players who have been injured, like (Suso) Santana, (Lee) Wallace, (Andrew) Driver, (David) Obua, who will all be back fairly soon. We've got a squad strong enough to hopefully maintain it."
