Hearts seek Zaliukas deal

Hearts manager Jim Jefferies is keen to hold talks with Lithuanian defender Marius Zaliukas to secure the player's long-term future at Tynecastle.
The 26-year-old centre-half has spent the last four seasons on loan with the Jambos from FBK Kaunas, but his latest deal runs out at the end of the year and Jefferies would like to get the situation clarified.
He told the club's official website: "There will be talks very soon to see about his situation. If we can sort something out then great, as he is a very good player."
Zaliukas has made just over 100 starts for Hearts in all competitions, hitting the headlines during the 2008-09 campaign after receiving four separate red cards.
