Hearts have confirmed that head coach Valdas Ivanauskas has left the club by mutual agreement.
The Lithuanian took over at Tynecastle on a permanent basis at the beginning of the season but was replaced for a month in October by Eduard Malofeev for health reasons - believed to be stress.
Chairman Roman Romanov told the club's official website: "During his period in charge of the team, Hearts won the Scottish Cup and finished second in the SPL.
"He has played a key role in the development of the team at a crucial time. Valdas made the request to leave his role as head coach."
