Hearts aim to keep Hartley

Hearts boss Valdas Ivanauskas is determined to keepPaul Hartley at Tynecastle despite reports linking the Scotland international with a move to Rangers.

Hartley backed Steven Pressley in November when the former Jambos captain spoke of his "dressing room unrest" at the club and is believed to be keen to leave Hearts in this month's transfer window.

But Ivanauskas insisted: "Paul Hartley has a contract with us and he is a very important player here.

"It's normal that Rangers have interest but I haven't had a call and I am not thinking about a sale."
