Hearts win at Ibrox as Rangers pay the penalty

Hearts claimed a 2-1 victory over Rangers in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League in what is likely to be the last time Ally McCoist's team plays together before the administrators' axe falls.

The Scottish champions took the lead through skipper Steven Davis before Ian Black levelled and Jamie Hamill grabbed the winner from the penalty spot.

Administrators Duff and Phelps are set to announce player redundancies early next week following several days of discussions with McCoist and PFA Scotland.
