Hearts take Premiership lead

Hearts came from behind to beat Dundee 2-1 at Dens Park and gain a taste of the high life as early leaders of the Ladbrokes Premiership.

Robbie Neilson's side were trailing to Kane Hemmings' early opener for the Dark Blues but rallied after the break to run out winners thanks to Juanma's clinical double.

The Spanish striker equalised from the penalty spot in the 56th minute before a solo effort seven minutes later helped the resurgent Tynecastle club make it back-to-back wins following their promotion from the Championship.

Celtic and Aberdeen, who are both involved in their second league games of the season on Sunday, will have the chance to overtake Hearts on goal difference.

Motherwell defender Louis Laing's late own goal helped Dundee United to their first three points of the campaign.

Laing sliced Paul Dixon's cross inside the near post to gift United the lead at Fir Park. Simon Murray netted his first goal for United on the break in the dying moments as the visitors sealed a 2-0 win.

St Johnstone substitute Graham Cummins salvaged a point for his side against Inverness as his last-gasp header ensured a 1-1 draw in Perth.

Ryan Christie's early strike at McDiarmid Park looked to have been good enough to give Caley Thistle their first win of the season, but Irishman Cummins added to his goal in last week's 4-3 defeat to Hearts when he nodded home the equaliser seconds from the end.

A first-half double from Craig Curran guided Ross County towards their first points of the campaign in a comfortable 2-0 victory over Hamilton at the Global Energy Stadium.

Curran netted from close range early on after a goalmouth scramble and struck again for Jim McIntyre's side when he was in the right place to tuck away a Marcus Fraser cutback.

Hamilton had squandered an early penalty when Ali Crawford missed with the game still goalless.
