Hearts in the running for Sutton signature
John Sutton will be looking to the future now the season si over. It looks like Hearts are leading the chase for Motherwell striker John Sutton. He was the Steelmen's joint-leading scorer in SPL action in the season just ended but is out of contract in the summer. Hearts are thought to be the front-runners for the striker's signature, although there is also significant interest from England. Rangers are also thought to be in the running while Celtic boss Neil Lennon has previously described the striker as a 'good' player. Sutton did not want to consider ghis future until after Saturday's Scottish Cup final, a game that Stuart McCall's side lost 3-0 to Celtic.
