Hearts holding out for a new hero

Hearts manager Jim Jefferies has begun the search for a new captain following the departure of Michael Stewart.[LNB] Vice-captain Marius Zaliukas has already deputised for Stewart but uncertainty over his own future means Jefferies will consider several options.[LNB]Jefferies told Hearts.TV: "We have an idea of the options to consider.[LNB]"Marius is out of contract at the end of December, I believe, so that might have a bearing on it.[LNB]"There are a couple of other players who have caught our eye.[LNB]"We'll look at that at the start [of pre-season] and that's something we'll look at in terms of attitude and who we think might have a chance."
