Hearts hit back for win

Hearts recovered from going a goal down in the Highland capital to overcome an Inverness side still searching for their first SPL win of the season at home, beating them 3-1. A Chris Innes own goal right on half-time was added to by Ryan Stevenson and Calum Elliott in the second half as Hearts picked up the three points. Yet it could all have been so different had Caley Thistle held on to the lead that was given to them by Eric Odhiambo in the 37th minute. Former Leicester man Odhiambo opened the scoring eight minutes before the break when he got on the end of Stuart Duff's pass, but Innes wiped that out when he put through his own goal after a David Templeton centre on the stroke of half-time. Stevenson gave the Edinburgh club the lead 10 minutes after the restart when he got on the end of a Kevin Kyle flick, before Eliot's drilled finish - his fourth of the season - wrapped things up with 21 minutes left.
