Gordon cool over exit

Hearts goalkeeper Craig Gordon says he would be more than happy to stay at the club beyond the summer, despite being linked with a big-money exit.

The 24-year-old Scotland international has been rumoured to be a target for Bayern Munich, Rangers and Arsenal, but Gordon says he has no fixed plans.

He told the club's official website: "I'm more than happy to come back and fight for Hearts next season and try to get us back in Europe at the end of next season.

"The ball is very much in their court. I still have two years left on my contract and I'm not banging down the door asking to get away.

"It's entirely up to them. If they decide to cash in on me and take some money for me, then that's their prerogative and I'll listen to whatever offer comes in.

"If it's not, I'll look forward to the start of the new season here."
