Gordon back for Hearts

Hearts have confirmed that Craig Gordon will be included in the squad for Saturday's visit of St Mirren - but the club captain still might not play any part in the match.

The Scotland international has been omitted from the Edinburgh club's last four games amid claims that transfer window speculation had been unsettling.

But head coach Valdas Ivanauskas has confirmed the Jambos skipper will at least be on the bench for the visit of the Buddies after holding talks with the club's majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov.

"Craig will be in the squad for the game on Saturday. It is too early to say whether he will play or not," he told the club's official website.

"Craig and Mr Romanov had a very good meeting and both sides were happy."
