Glen's chance will come

Breaking back into a winning team is difficult It must be hard for Gary Glen sitting on the bench. While on one hand he is enjoying watching Hearts continue to mine their fine vein of form to sit third in the table; on the other hand he is sitting on the bench. He has not been forgotten about by manager Jim  Jefferies who considers Glen could be an "asset" for Hearts in the second half of the season. While there is the option of Glen being released on loan, Jefferies is in no rush to lose him just yet. Loans can be made on a monthly basis which would allow Glen to be gaining match fitness while also allowing Jefferies to get him back quickly if need be.Jefferies said: "Gary is still very much in our thoughts, he's just been a bit unlucky. Big Kyle and Stephen Elliot have been doing well, as has Calum Elliot, who is having to sit on the bench as well at the moment. But, with strikers, they can go off the boil and perhaps even pick up an injury. So we will think very carefully before we do anything as the last thing I want is to get a couple of injuries and find we can't get back a player who we've just put out on loan. We still have a lot of thoughts about Gary being an asset for us for the rest of the season."
