Hearts' caretaker manager Stephen Frail is still waiting to find out whether he will remain in charge at Tynecastle into next season.
Frail's charges ended a disappointing season with a dismal 1-0 defeat at relegated Gretna on Tuesday and the former Jambos defender is waiting to see what the future holds.
He told The Scotsman: "At the minute I have no holiday planned. It's going to be a long summer and whatever decision is made I'll deal with it.
"At the end of the day I am still culpable for things that are going on at the club. I said to the players that every single player and every single member of staff has to take responsibility for what has happened this season.
"I can only keep preparing for the new season. I can't stop because there are no more games.
"I've not been told if I am going to be the manager or here in any capacity, so I need to make sure everything is right.
"If I am not here and I lose my job, I want someone to walk in and see the preparation is right and carry it on."
