Hearts are in talks with more transfer targets, according to director Sergejus Fedotovas.

Manager Jim Jefferies has so far added defender Darren Barr and striker Kevin Kyle to his squad during the close season. Fedotovas is in constant touch with Jefferies, who is now on holiday, and he insists the Gorgie club's recruitment drive is not finished yet.

"There has been quite a lot of positive news recently and I'm glad that we have been able to secure the services of these players," Fedotovas told Hearts.tv.

"It shows that Hearts are a really a good club and players are proud to play for Hearts.

"It also shows that we are competitive and can attract and sign players.

"I am speaking to Jim Jefferies every day, he is very positive. Obviously we know the areas that we need to strengthen.

"We've landed a striker recently and we know that we need to strengthen midfield now.

"This is a very important signing and we are talking with a couple of very good players at the moment.

"I hope these discussions will finalise soon and we will be able to land a midfielder hopefully over the next few weeks. Then we will re-address the squad and see if there are other areas we need to strengthen and make a decision."
