Scott Robinson is happy for Hibs to make the top six but from points won after tomorrow's game Scott Robinson hopes Hibs make it into the top six of the SPL before the split to keep his family happy. The forward, Hearts youngest player after making his debut shortly after his 16th birthday in April 2008, is determined to be involved in Sunday's Edinburgh derby at Easter Road. An away win and three points for Hearts would go some way to securing third place behind title-chasing Celtic and Rangers, while ninth-placed Hibs must win if they are to break into the top six in the four games before the SPL split. Robinson said: "My mum's side of the family are all Hibs fans. They're all wishing me well, if I do play - they probably still want to Hibs to win but if I come on they'll want to see me do well. Hibs haven't been doing well, but it would be great to see Hibs in the top six and there would be another derby as well. It's good for the league if Hibs are in the top six. As long as you can finish above them you're happy for them to be in the top six." In January Hibs were considered relegation contenders but the close of the transfer window and the recruitment of six players has seen an upturn in their fortunes. Hibs are on an unbeaten run of six games and sit ninth in the table, just five points behind sixth-placed Motherwell. Robinson went on: "They're looking a good unit and looking very strong. They've won five of the last six and it will be a very hard game." Hearts, meanwhile, have stuttered. The form which led some to suggest they could split the Old Firm has disappeared and Jim Jefferies' men, winners of the first two derbies of the season, have one win in the last four games. That win came against St Mirren in their most recent fixture, when Robinson made his second appearance of the season as a half-time substitute. Robinson, who played in a 1-0 win for Hearts under-19s against Hibs on Tuesday, is eager to get another chance at Easter Road this weekend. He added: "I would love to take any part, even coming on for 10 minutes. It's the biggest game of the season for the club and there will be a great atmosphere at Easter Road. It would mean everything to get a game on Sunday as I've never played in a derby. It would be a dream come true." Robinson made 14 appearances last season, including scoring in a 1-1 draw at Rangers, before falling down the pecking order this term. He is out of contract this summer but is determined to stay at Tynecastle. He said: "I'm getting my head down and doing whatever I can to impress. Hearts are my club and they have been since I signed when I was 14. It's always been my aim to be in the first team and play regularly. Hopefully I can make that dream come true."
