Hearts winger Andrew Driver has returned to Scotland following successful surgery on his knee problem in Sweden.[LNB] The 22-year-old went under the knife this week in a bid to recover from the tendonitis which blighted last season.[LNB]He will now start his recovery programme under the supervision of the club's medical staff, meaning he will not join the pre-season trip to Italy.[LNB]Boss Jim Jefferies will take around 25 players to his favoured Tuscan resort of Il Ciocco next Saturday for a seven-day stay.[LNB]"The operation was a success and the surgeon was quite happy with the way everything went," assistant manager Billy Brown told Hearts News.[LNB]"Andrew will now get on with his rehab and that means he won't be in Italy with the rest of the players. He will stay here in Edinburgh and work on his rehabilitation.[LNB]"He's a generally fit boy and he'll be working hard to get back for the start of the season."[LNB]
