ristol City boss Steve Coppell fully expects Paul Hartley to leave Ashton Gate this summer and return to play in his native Scotland.[LNB] Hartley has been left out of City's pre-season tour to Sweden and is being linked with a return to Hears after a solitary season in the West Country.[LNB]"I've had a number of chats with Paul," Coppell told the Bristol Evening Post. "His family are up in the Scotland and he was back and forth to see them all last season.[LNB]"He is homesick and, in an ideal world, he'd be playing his football in Scotland - that's his point of view and I respect that.[LNB]"He had a very good year for this club last season, but it's asking a lot for him to be making that journey over and over again for another season.[LNB]"I'm anticipating that he won't be here. I think he's too good a player not to be picked up by a club north of the border."
