Chance to shine at home for Templeton

The last four games provide a chance to try some changes which may help next season. It looks like David Templeton may get a chance over the final four games of the season to show manager Jim Jefferies that he is an able substitute for Andy Driver. Templeton managed eight minutes of game time at Ibrox yesterday, coming on as a sub,  as Hearts lost in Glasgow. Three of the final four games are at home so Templeton will be among friends as he seeks to capitalise on driver’s injury misfortune. Driver tore his tight muscle against Killie earlier this month, creates a gap in wide areas and Templeton could be the man to fill it.Jefferies said: "We want to do well in these remaining games so it's about getting the balance right between trying to win the matches and having a look at one or two players. I will definitely look to try and give Templeton a run in the games between now and the end of the season. I'm not saying he'll play in them all but he will certainly be involved and take part in most of them. As for starting, if the timing is right he will get the chance just like one or two others. Templeton is younger than Driver and a lot less experienced. We know all about his ability and talent but he still lacks a bit of experience. We will work to develop him as he gets older but he's certainly got the talent and the skill factor required. We see him as one for the future and we want to let him taste the first team more to benefit for the years ahead."
