Bouzid calls for Jambos unity

Algerian defender Ismael Bouzid has told the frustrated Hearts fans to stop booing Michael Stewart.

The Jambos' poor start to the campaign continued at the weekend when they were held to a draw by Falkirk, but Bouzid wants the club's fans to continue backing the players.

Hearts captain Stewart was involved in an angry exchange with a group of supporters at half-time and Bouzid said: "We are a team and, if there is fighting amongst our own players, then it isn't good.

"I don't know why the supporters have reacted against us but we must all fight together. If Michael has a problem I want to help him and I hope if I have a problem he'd want to help me.

"That is a proper team reaction as you can't be negative and want to kill your partner. If you kill your partner you are the villain.

"All of the players tried to win the game but we couldn't score and that's our biggest problem. What can you do? We had the chances but just couldn't score."
