Bans fall kindly for Hearts boss

Jim Jefferies saw three players pick up bans against Rangers but consoled himself with the knowledge that none will miss the Edinburgh derby.[LNB] Eggert Jonsson will sit out Saturday's visit of Motherwell after being sent off by Iain Brines for a professional foul on Steven Naismith before Kenny Miller netted the second goal in Rangers' 2-0 SPL victory on Sunday.[LNB]David Obua and Larry Kingston have also been hit by one-match bans after being booked and they will miss the game against Dundee United on May 5.[LNB]Hibernian are facing a selection crisis for the Easter Road derby on May 1 with Sol Bamba confirmed as missing the game as part of a three-match suspension.[LNB]And Hibs boss John Hughes is awaiting news from the Scottish Football Association over Ian Murray, Kevin McBride and Darren McCormack, who could all miss the visit of Hearts after being booked during their team's 3-2 defeat at Celtic Park on Saturday.[LNB]But Hearts have no such worries with their suspensions kicking in 24 hours later.[LNB]Jefferies told Hearts News: "I thought Eggert's sending-off was a bit soft.[LNB]"Naismith was very clever and made it difficult for the referee but the one good thing about it is that he hasn't gone through any thresholds and only misses Saturday's game against Motherwell.[LNB]"Larry and David also picked up one game and that will be against Dundee United so everyone will be available for the game against Hibs at Easter Road.[LNB]"Suspensions at this time of the season are part and parcel of the game and others will now get a chance. We have some players coming back from injury and will have plenty of options in midfield."
