Former Plymouth defender Kari Arnason is to join Hearts for their week-long training camp in Italy as he seeks to win a contract at Tynecastle.[LNB] Arnason is a free agent after leaving Plymouth in the summer and Jim Jefferies is looking forward to running the rule over the centre-back during the stay in Tuscany.[LNB]The 28-year-old joined Argyle in 2009 from Danish club AGF Aarhus and made 72 appearances for the Pilgrims, scoring three goals.[LNB]Jefferies said: "Eggert Jonsson knows him and he comes well recommended by the likes of John Blackley. [LNB]"The owner has been good enough to allow us to bring him over and we'll have a close look at him over the next seven days. [LNB]"His situation with Plymouth means he is available as a free agent so it's worth having a look."[LNB]
