Hartlepool United boss Neale Cooper has moved in on his former club to sign Ross County defender Hugh Robertson.
The 28-year-old left-back had started exactly 100 league games for County, having earlier had spells with Aberdeen and Dundee.
Cooper told the Northern Echo: "Hugh is quick over short distances and is a good user of the ball.
"He is probably one of the best passers of the ball I've seen and fortunately we have been able to come to a deal with Ross County."
The player himself added: "I know Neale from his time up at Ross County. He's a guy who makes you feel really welcome at a club, but still maintains plenty of discipline."
