Hartlepool United boss Danny Wilson has played down speculation linking him with the Northern Ireland managerial post.
Wilson has guided Pools back to League One following last season's relegation and has previously managed Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday, Bristol City and MK Dons.
"No-one has contacted me so there's nothing to think about," Wilson told the Northern Echo.
"I've been asked before, a few years ago, but the time wasn't right for me, so maybe that's why my name has come up again, but as far as I'm concerned it's no more than speculation."
Northern Ireland are seeking a new manager following Lawrie Sanchez's decision to take charge of Fulham on a permanent basis.
