Wilson brings in Coles

Hartlepool United boss Danny Wilson has been reunited with Danny Coles after signing the Hull City defender on a month's loan.

The 25-year-old played under Wilson during their days together at Bristol City before moving to the KC Stadium two summers ago.

"Danny's a player I know very well from Bristol," Wilson told Pools' official website.

"He's a very versatile player and can play anywhere along the back four so he'll be adding some competition in that area.

"Danny's come here looking for a fresh challenge and, while it's only for a month initially, we hope he enjoys his time with us and we can be successful."

Coles has made only 27 starts for the Tigers during his time with City.
