Wadsworth satisfied to end losing run

Hartlepool first-team coach Mick Wadsworth was pleased his side managed to bring a run of three straight defeats to an end following the goalless draw at Bristol Rovers.Despite their recent run of results the Pools are now only three points off the play-offs after the turgid stalemate.Wadsworth said: "I wasn't delighted with a point but I was happy with the performance. I felt we dominated the game and that was pleasing for me. We had lost the previous three games, so it had been a bit of a squeaky time and that hasn`t been like us this season."We had been on a great run of form before that and you know it has to end sometime. To bounce back with a draw away from home and a very solid performance was pleasing."We were solid all over the pitch. We had to be because their two strikers (Will Hoskins and Jo Kuffour) are a real handful and that was our biggest worry before the game."We handled them very well and maybe we were only slightly disappointed with our final ball or pass at times when we got into good attacking positions."
