Hull City central defender Sam Collins has joined League One outfit Swindon Town on an initial month's loan.
The 30-year-old former Port Vale stopper has fallen down the pecking order at the KC Stadium and will fill in for injured Robins skipper Hasney Aljofree in the coming weeks.
Collins told the Swindon Advertiser: "My last game was on September 12 last year and I had an operation on the knee in November, but I have been back training since July and have played six or seven reserve games.
"The injury seems absolutely fine now. I am not coming to Swindon just to get fit.
"I am coming here because I am excited about the club's potential and I want to do well for the club and the manager.
"The manager wants to make sure I am fit before committing himself but I am coming down here to do well, get myself going again and then we will take it from there."
