Hartlepool United manager Danny Wilson has expressed his delight at making Andy Monkhouse's loan move to Victoria Park permanent.
The 26-year-old Swindon Town midfielder impressed Wilson during his month-loan stay with Pools, scoring three goals in eight appearances for the League Two promotion-chasers.
"From our perspective, we liked what he did when he was here and we're delighted to welcome him back," Wilson told the club's official website.
"He adds a great balance on the left for us and adds competition for places in the squad which is essential.
"The more players we have the stronger the squad will get and I think this is a good signing for us.
"I think the fans took to him while he was here, the players certainly did and that's a bonus too.
"He came here and felt comfortable in the surroundings and with everyone at the club and hopefully he can do well here."
