Pools may turn to loan market

Chris Turner could be forced into the loan market because of the injury and suspension crisis that has engulfed his Hartlepool United squad.

Daniel Nardiello, Ben Clark and Matty Robson are all currently banned while Rune Lange, Joel Porter, Jamie McCunnie and Ritchie Jones are injured.

"You always want more players - there's no manager in the world that doesn't want more," Turner told the Northern Echo.

"The loan market is available again. If we feel we might need to strengthen somewhere else in the team then we will if the right players are available."
