Pools land two signings

Hartlepool United boss Danny Wilson has added two players to his squad on the same day.

Pools have landed former Doncaster Rovers goalkeeper Jan Budtz and also Liverpool defender Godwin Antwi on a season-long loan.

Budtz, 28, will compete with fellow new signing Arran Lee-Barrett for the number one jersey next season.

Meanwhile, Antwi has been signed after impressing Wilson during a loan spell at League Two side Accrington Stanley last season.

"He's come in from a terrific football club who think a lot of him," Wilson told Pools' official website.

"He has good experience, great potential and has played in a lower division, where he had a lot to do for Accrington Stanley during his time there."
