Pools land midfielder

Hartlepool United have snapped up Andy Monkhouse on a month's loan from Swindon Town.
The 26-year-old midfielder only signed for the Robins in the summer on a free transfer from Rotherham.
But following Dennis Wise's departure to Leeds United and new manager Paul Sturrock's arrival at the County Ground, Monkhouse has seen his first-team opportunities dry up.
The Leeds-born midfielder has been signed in time to make his Pools' debut against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.
