Pools held despite Collins strike

Sam Collins was on target as Hartlepool's pre-season campaign continued with a 1-1 draw against Whitley Bay.Collins opened the scoring in the 17th minute when he rose highest to head home a corner from Evan Horwood.Pools dominated the game but could not add to their lead and were eventually pegged back when Phil Bell crashed a low shot past Scott Flinders.They could have grabbed a late winner but Andy Monkhouse saw his effort cleared of the line.
