Nolan ends Pools stay

Hartlepool United manager Danny Wilson has allowed Eddie Nolan to return to Blackburn Rovers after the teenager's loan spell at Victoria Park came to an end.

The 19-year-old made 12 appearances for Pools during his two-month stay with the club.

"We're very grateful to Blackburn for their help in letting us take Eddie on loan," Wilson told the club's official website.

"I'm certain that Eddie will have a very bright future in front of him and I wish him well."
