Horwood doubt for Pools

Hartlepool boss Mick Wadsworth will run the rule over left-back Evan Horwood ahead of the home clash against Notts County.The 24-year-old missed the trip to Dagenham and Redbridge with a hip problem but has recovered well and could be in line for a recall against Paul Ince's side.Denis Behan is almost certainly out of the clash after picking up a shoulder injury in the 1-1 draw with the Daggers, while Adam Boyd is still struggling with a back problem.Experienced midfielder Ritchie Humphreys could only make the bench for the weekend fixture after shrugging off a thigh injury but will not feature against County as he and James Brown, who has been struggling with an ankle injury, will attempt to build up some much-needed match practice in a reserve fixture against Middlesbrough instead.
