Homes development in 4.5m boost

A stalled scheme to build more than 100 affordable homes on Teesside has been granted £4.5m.The project to transform the Blayberry and Burnmoor estate in Redcar was put on hold at the start of this year due to the economic recession. It has now been awarded the cash boost from the Homes and Communities Agency's Kickstart fund. The 141-home development will include 90 social homes for rent and 12 shared equity properties.
