Double award boost for Pools

Hartlepool first-team coach Mick Wadsworth has scooped the npower League One Manager of the Month award for December, with captain Sam Collins picking up the Player of the Month gong.Pools hit top form in December, taking six points from their two league fixtures at Bournemouth and Huddersfield.Wadsworth also oversaw progress in the FA Cup as his side came back from two goals down to beat Yeovil 4-2 in the second round.Skipper Collins was key to the clean sheets in the back-to-back 1-0 away league victories against the Cherries and the Terriers.Wadsworth becomes the first Pools boss to win the award since Danny Wilson in March 2007.
