Hartlepool United manager Danny Wilson paid tribute to the character of his players after they came back from two down to defeat Port Vale on Tuesday night.
Pools scored twice in the last three minutes at Victoria Park to earn an unlikely 3-2 victory and afterwards Wilson was full of praise for the spirit of his side.
"It was exciting wasn't it," he told the club's official website.
"In the first half we were very poor defensively - we looked like complete strangers and we let in two really poor goals.
"In the second half it was an absolutely fantastic response. The lads were under a lot of pressure but they showed massive character to come back to win in the manner they did."
Wilson was also full of praise for Richie Barker after he scored two goals and set up the third for Anthony Sweeney.
"Whoever knocks Richard Barker needs their head looking at," he added.
"To score sixteen goals at this stage of the season deserves a pat on the back.
"Since he's been at this football club he's been absolutely magnificent and you see when you're in the trenches battling that he's always there for you."
