Hartlepool United won high praise from caretaker boss Chris Turner after securing a shock 2-0 FA Cup third round win at home to Premier League Stoke City.
Goals from Michael Nelson and David Foley were enough to send Pools through to round four after a fine display at Victoria Park.
Turner said afterwards: "As a coach, manager, it was a fantastic afternoon. I couldn't have asked any more of the individuals and they worked extremely hard.
"They were up against a very strong, powerful team, but they stuck at their task and were very concentrated and disciplined and worked extremely hard to get that result.
"It's the best feeling, when the whistle went, I have ever felt, even though as a player I have played and won at Wembley."
