Hartlepool United manager Danny Wilson has allowed six players to leave the club, as he intends to stick by most of his current squad for next season.
Scott Allison, Robbie Elliott, Ali Gibb, Tom Haigh, Michael Rae and Stephen Turnbull have all been allowed to move on, with Pools not wanting to start a major rebuilding job.
Director of football Chris Turner told the Hartlepool Mail: "It's all about team-building, keeping the players and squad together, then adding in the right areas.
"We have a squad we can move forward with and there are areas we'll be looking to strengthen.
"But any building is down to Danny, he will identify players he wants to bring in and he'll come to the owners with his target list and then we'll take it from there."
