Yantorno hope for Pools

Hartlepool manager Chris Turner is hoping to have international clearance for Fabian Yantorno passed in time for the midfielder to face Rochdale. The Uruguayan has been on trial at Pools and the club are hoping he will feature at Spotland. Turner has already tied up a short-term deal for Paul Murray and he will go straight into the squad for the clash. Turner told the club's official website: "We're working on things behind the scenes. It's complicated with Fabian due to the required international clearance." If Yantorno does sign he would become Pools' fourth new arrival this summer, having already brought in Hartlepool-born full-back Evan Horwood and goalkeeper Andy Rafferty. Horwood is expected to make his debut while defender Gary Liddle is suspended.
