West: Jones looks a different player
Jones impressed on his comeback from injury and illness in the second-string's 3-1 defeat to Scunthorpe on Tuesday, scoring Pools' goal.[LNB]He came off the bench in last Saturday's dismal FA Cup defeat to non-League Kettering, but proved his fitness with 90 minutes for the reserves.[LNB]And West told the Hartlepool Mail: "I was going to take him off but he just looked as though he was enjoying his football. I kept asking if he was okay but he was still working hard so I let him get on with it![LNB]"I really think he knows and understands a bit more what we are asking of him now. He is working tremendously hard to do the things which we think will improve him as a player.[LNB]"When he picks the ball up and is positive with it, he looks a totally different player."[LNB][LNB]
