Wadsworth targets attacking overhaul

Hartlepool first-team coach Mick Wadsworth has set his sights on an attacking overhaul at Victoria Park this summer. Pools have managed just 44 goals in 42 league games this season and Wadsworth believes it is finally time to address the problem by reshuffling his attacking options during the summer. "We need a change around to supplement the squad and thin the squad - that's the name of the game at the end of the season," Wadsworth told the Hartlepool Mail. "Our attacking output has been our problem all season and I get fed up talking about it. There's no point in talking anymore, everyone knows we don't get many goals from front rank. "Nobody has set the world on fire, one or two will say they've not had many chances and I understand that but I see every reserve game, I see them in training every day and judge them. "We have had to play in a way we will get chances from elsewhere and we've done that. What can we change? We can change quite a few things at the end of the season, I'm sure."
