Wadsworth set to ring the changes

Hartlepool caretaker boss Mick Wadsworth is set to make changes for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy northern section second-round home clash with Bradford. With the Pools squad hit by injuries, Wadsworth is set to shuffle his pack and give some of his fringe players a chance to impress. Anthony Sweeney is unlikely to make the game as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury which caused him to miss Saturday's 1-0 win at Plymouth. Fabian Yantorno is hoping to return to the starting line-up after he was dropped to the bench against the Pilgrims struggling with a hip problem, on-loan Manchester United goalkeeper Conor Devlin will be anxious to make his debut for the club. James Brown (ankle), Ritchie Humphreys (hamstring), Scott Flinders, Andy Rafferty (both hand) and Billy Greulich (ankle) all remain sidelined. United will be hoping to turn around their miserable defensive record at Victoria Park this season which has seen them concede 15 goals in five home league games.
