Wadsworth looking for revenge

Hartlepool caretaker manager Mick Wadsworth has admitted the Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Sheffield Wednesday gives his team the perfect chance to exact `payback' on the Owls. Wednesday ran out comfortable 5-0 winners against Pools at Victoria Park earlier in the season and Wadsworth insists the memories of that afternoon will drive his players on to victory. He told the club's official website: "It's a payback game for us hopefully. "They gave us a bit of a rousting really when they came to our place. We'd started the season reasonably but that day we got caught out from the first few minutes. "They've got some very good players and I'm sure Alan is not happy they aren't further up the table at the moment. "But we're optimistic, about the game, we've been good away from home so far this season and this is an exciting prospect for us."
