Wadsworth hopes to be loan arranger

Hartlepool caretaker manager Mick Wadsworth is ready to dip into the loan market to add some much-needed quality to his squad. Wadsworth saw his side claim their first point in four games with a goalless draw away at Brentford and has two possible targets in mind. "We are looking at players. I've a boy coming in from Burnley this week (Chris Lynch) and possibly one from Manchester City," he told The Northern Echo. "The chairman is happy for us to look and hopefully we can get stronger. Myself, Micky Barron and Peter Eustace, our chief scout, will look at things this week." Wadsworth may also be forced to search the loan market for a back-up goalkeeper after injuries to Scott Flinders and Andy Rafferty.
