Wadsworth holds cards close to chest

Hartlepool caretaker manager Mick Wadsworth has to rethink his options ahead of his side's FA cup game against Vauxhall Motors. Wadsworth was planning on re-shuffling his squad to give his fringe players a chance but after the midweek abandonment against Notts County he will wait to name his squad. James Poole has extended his loan stay from Manchester City and has been given permission to play in the first round while Evan Horwood could come back into the Pools starting line-up after a hip problem. Denis Behan is struggling with a shoulder injury and Adam Boyd is unlikely to feature after a back problem. The called off game on Tuesday has given midfielder Ritchie Humphreys (thigh) and striker James Brown (ankle) more time to recover from their injuries and both could feature on Saturday.
